Obituary for Virginia Myers
Virginia “Giny” Lou Myers, 59, of Greencastle, passed away peacefully in her home on October 6, 2022.
Born October 9, 1962 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Richard H. and Mary Lou
Wright Myers.
Giny attended James Buchanan High School. She was an animal lover and enjoyed spending her days
outside. She enjoyed completing puzzles, playing putt-putt golf, and older video games with her family.
Giny is survived by her companion of 43 years, James A. Keefer, her son, Dakota Keefer, and brothers
Eric Myers of Greencastle and Chris (Bard) Myers of Mercersburg. Other surviving family include her
nephews, Andrew Myers, Danny Myers, Brian Myers, and aunts, Karen King and Jean Fisher, and an
uncle Charles Wright.
Giny is preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Benjamin F. Myers, and brother Timothy L.
Myers.
At this time, there will not be a public memorial service.
