Obituary for Sharon Riley
Sharon Marie Riley, 64, of Mercersburg, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at the WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital.
Born December 24, 1957 in Chambersburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Mabel Frisby.
Sharon graduated from James Buchanan High School. For 33 years, she worked at Mt. Parnell Fisheries in Fort Loudon. Sharon enjoyed reading Nancy Drew books and enjoyed playing Bingo with her family and friends. She loved to cook and barbecue and play games on her Ipad.
Sharon was a member of the Love Temple Church in Mercersburg, PA.
Surviving family include her siblings; Marlene (Carl) Cooper and Wanda Riley of Pittsburgh, Vera (James) Keith, Mary, Linda Funk, Shelly, and Vivian Riley of Mercersburg, Beverly (Charles) Kitchen of Macon GA, Brenda Riley of Chambersburg, James Riley of Belfonta PA, Terry (Tammy) Riley, Patrick (Melissa) Riley, and Charles Riley of Mercersburg, and Michael Riley of Chambersburg. Sharon is survived by 32 nieces and nephews and many great, and great-great nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held 11:00 on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Fries Funeral Home in Mercersburg, PA with Pastor Vera Keith officiating. There will we a viewing 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Zion Union Cemetery, Mercersburg, PA.
