Obituary for Judith Unger
Judith Ann Unger, 76, of Greencastle, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 in Chambersburg.
Born September 29, 1945 in Williamson, PA, she was a daughter of the late Warren Noble and Beatrice Marie Stains Poper.
Judith was raised in Williamson and attended high school. She worked as a seamstress for Stanley Clothes Company and raised 5 children. Judith loved her family and enjoyed crocheting, working on puzzle books, and playing Bingo with her friends.
Judith was a former member of Welsh Run Church of the Brethren.
Judith is survived by her children, Donald D. Unger Jr. of Mercersburg, Sandy (Buddy) Iden of Greencastle, Terry L. Unger of Greencastle, and Wendy J. Unger of Greencastle, 9 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren, a sister, Cindy Lochbaum, and brothers, Bill and John Poper.
Judith is preceded in death by her daughter, Trina Unger, and 12 siblings.
A visitation and viewing will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Fries Funeral Home Inc., Mercersburg, PA. A memorial service will be scheduled at the convenience of the family.
