Obituary for Jeffrey Eugene Schooley
Jeffrey Eugene Schooley, 63, of Mercersburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital.
Born August 12, 1959 in Chambersburg, PA, he was a son of Robert Nelson and Velma Louise Robinson Schooley.
Jeff graduated from James Buchanan High School in 1978. He worked as a machinist at Parnell Precision Company. Jeff loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed working on his car and growing sunflowers.
Jeff is survived by his parents, Robert and Velma Schooley, his son, Aaron (Cortney) Schooley, and 2 grandchildren, Hope and Gabriel. Surviving siblings include; Karen (Howard) Rosenberry, Penny (Rick) Keeseman, Barry Schooley, and Amy Hornbaker.
Jeff is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Bryant Hornbaker.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the Greencastle Church of God with Pastor Floyd Myers officiating. There will be a viewing 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg
