Obituary for Janice F. Williams

Janice F. Williams, 91, formerly of Fort Loudon, PA died September 1, 2022.
Born November 9, 1930 in Fort Loudon, she was a daughter of the late Norman G. and M. Gail (Rosenberry) Rosenberry Rex, and a step daughter of the late Rev. Dr. Willoughby F. Rex.
Janice was a graduate of Lemasters High School. She was employed for 36 years by the US Postal Service and was the former postmaster at the Fort Loudon office.
Janice had been an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling, gardening, flowers, dancing, and the theatre.
She was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliaries of both the American Legion #606, Fort Loudon, and VFW #6241, Mercersburg, PA. Also, a member of National Association of Post Masters.
Surviving family include two daughters, Lark W. (David) McClure of Fayetteville, PA and Jenny W. (Ralph) Febbo of Avon, Ohio. Three grandchildren, Carolyn (Myers) Davidson, Dominick Febbo and Allegra Febbo. Four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Janice was preceded in death by a grandson, Anthony Myers, a great granddaughter, Nikki Martz, four siblings, Phyllis Hege, and Creston, Victor, and Norman Rosenberry.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday September 10, 2022 in Fries Funeral Home, Mercersburg.
Memorial visitation one hour prior to the service Saturday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, 100 West School House Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19144
