Obituary for Douglas Fries
Douglas E. Fries, 58, of Fort Loudon, passed away on Wednesday April 19, 2023 at his residence.
Born October 31, 1964 in Chambersburg, PA, he was a son of the late George W. Fries and Alice J. Myers Fries.
Douglas graduated from James Buchanan High School in 1982. He worked as a truck driver for Walmart distribution center out of Pottsville, PA.
Douglas is survived by his mother, Alice Jane Fries, and a sister, Pam Chamberlin and her husband Jay.
Douglas is preceded in death by his father, George W. Fries.
A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 25 at Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro PA, with Reverend Roy Fahnestock officiating.
In honor of Douglas, contributions may be sent to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter of Franklin County at 5051 Letterkenny Rd W, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
