Obituary for Donald Keefer
Donald E. Keefer, 68, of Mercersburg, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born March 3, 1954, in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Paul Eugene and Agnes Johnson Keefer.
Donald graduated from Southern Fulton High School in 1972 and worked as a machinist for 42 years at JLG in McConnellsburg. Donald’s passion was collecting and restoring antique tractors and attending shows. He also enjoyed taking vacations and bus trips with his wife Carol to visit many places on east coast. Donald was a loving, caring, and supportive husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Donald was a member of C.V. Antique Engine and Machining Association, Moline Gold Collector Association, and the Keystone Oliver Collectors Association of PA.
Donald is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol A. Keefer of Mercersburg, a daughter, Lindsay and husband Greg Woods of Mercersburg, and two grandchildren, Ashley and Dylan Woods.
A memorial service will be scheduled later at the convenience of the family.
