Deborah “Sue” Pittman, 69, of 4882 Lemar Road, was given her angel wings on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Hershey Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Born August 11, 1953, she was a daughter of the late John and Grace Zeis Briggs.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother was her greatest accomplishment, this brought great joy to her life. She lived for and cherished making meals and cookies for her grandchildren!

Surviving Deborah is her husband of 54 years, Allan L. Pittman who she married August 31, 1969; two daughters Tina S. Rideout and Gina M. Brewer; 3 grandchildren, Benjamin A. Brewer (Brooke), Brianna N. Brewer (Megan); and Bethany A. Hoch (Ben), two great grandsons, Owen M. Brewer and Beau Paul Hoch, and two brothers, Guy Briggs and Larry Briggs.

Deborah is preceded in death by her siblings, Edith Spangler, Betty Ritter, Vera Fritz, Barry Briggs, and John Briggs.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM on Friday May 26, 2023 at Fries Funeral Home Inc. Mercersburg, PA with a viewing 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Parklawns Memorial Garden, Chambersburg, PA.
