Obituary for Carmen June Pike

Carmen June Pike, 70, of Fort Loudon, PA died March 23, 2023 in Laurel Lakes Rehab Center, Chambersburg, PA.
Born June 19, 1952 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles Sr. and Mary Jane (Worthy) Wrights.
Carmen was a 1970 graduate of James Buchanan High School, Mercersburg, and a graduate of Chambersburg Beauty School. She worked as a beautician at Adam & Eve Hair Salon, and later as a waitress at Dilly’s, both of Chambersburg. Carmen had also worked at Frontier Western Wear of Fort Loudon.
She loved hosting family gatherings, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas when she “went all out.” She had an incredibly spoiled Jack Russell that she loved dearly.
Carmen enjoyed going to the beach, reading, and was a Dallas Cowboy football fan. She was a member of Fort Loudon American Legion.
Surviving family include her husband, Elwood A. “Woody” Pike, Jr., whom she married June 4, 1994. Three children, Todd Wrights, Nicole Wagner, and Tyler Shipley. Three grandchildren, Lakiesha Heintzelman, Gavin Patterson and Delilah Patterson, and three great grandchildren, Atlas, Claire, and Broderick. A brother, Charles Wrights, Jr. Carmen was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Wright.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday April 4, 2023 in Fries Funeral Home Inc., Mercersburg, with Pastor Harold E. Yeager officiating. Burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.
