Obituary for Anna Wolfe
Anna Mary Wolfe, 82, of Mercersburg, passed away on March 18, 2023 in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Born April 27, 1940 in Mercersburg, she was a daughter of the late James Melvin Wolfe and Mary Pauline Sharar.
Anna graduated from Mercersburg High School in 1958. She worked as a seamstress for various sewing factories in Mercersburg and later retired from Corning Glass in 2002.
Anna loved her family and was devoted to her two daughters. Her greatest joy in life always came from spending time with them. She enjoyed baking, word puzzles, and watching the animals in her backyard, especially the deer and hummingbirds. She enjoyed going to the casinos and spending time with her Grand-dog, Max.
Anna is survived by her two daughters, Lori (Michael) Quinlivan of Mercersburg, Candy (Tracy) Morris of Hagerstown, grandson, Cody Morris, sister, Olga McQuade, and brothers, Robert (MaryAnne) Wolfe and Paul (Carol) Badorf.
Anna is preceded in death by her sister, Betty J. Timmons, and a brother-in-law Herald McQuade.
The family will arrange for a memorial service at their convenience.
