Obituary for Allen E. Homeier
Allen Ervin Homeier, 80, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Deborah Homeier (nee Freiburghaus) and late first wife Ellen Homeier (nee Robke); loving father of Tina Dunville and Michelle Gardner; dear grandfather of Morgan Dunville, Matthias Dunville, Jeffrey Gardner, Gabriel Gardner and Ellen Gardner; dear brother of Alice, Linda, Jane, Patty, Marion, Jim, Jerry, Timothy, and the late Christina, Tina, Janet and Harold; son of the late Harold & Alice (nee Reichman) Homeier.
Al liked spending time with friends in his Carriage House while enjoying a Michelob Ultra and keeping Bertha (his wood stove) fed. He also spent time on the golf course on warmer days and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #517. Al served as a Marine and fought in the Korean Conflict.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
